Hello!  I've spent several hours searching these forums and have not seen any recent posts about current digital download pricing.

I am mostly a high-school level sports photographer and new to Zenfolio.  I have been getting hits on my new website, but not many orders yet.  I strongly suspect that the students may be copying/printscreening shots and using for their personal use.  

I'm slowing beginning to realize that the "digital download" may be the current trend and "prints" may be fading out.  I'm interested to see what my fellow photographers have decided to sell their digital photos (including the sizes offered & prices for each size).  I have a very bad habit of underpricing myself, but I keep struggling with the idea that "more reasonable" pricing might lead to higher sales in the long run.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated! 

I, too, am a high school sports photographer and just started my Zenfolio sales site this Fall.  The downloads are by far my best seller.  I charge $5 each.  Might be too low, but I figure that I'm dealing with kids and Booster Clubs.  I also put a good size watermark on my images to discourage them taking a screenshot. The kids/parents are buying the downloads and using them on Facebook, etc.  So that's my experience for what it's worth.

Thanks for replying!  I was actually considering $5.00 for a low-resolution download.  Hearing that you are having success with that makes me feel better.
