I have check the ranking in Google of some blog posts. I search in Google for the headline of the blogpost.

I was surprised, that I found several other of my blog post, which have the headline under recent posts, but not the post.

Is there a way to control, that the ranking of the post is in front of the other posts, which have online a link of this post under recent posts?

What I have do is linked my Blog with google you can submit your RSS feed in your webmaster tool all what you need to do is Http://yourwebsite/com/blog/rss.

Google will then submitted and indexed all the blog pages and new topics you will add at a later day.  That is what I have done it looks like it is working for the min.

I'm having trouble with this same issue. I've tried adding sitemaps in Google, and cannot seem to make it work. Are you typing "Http://yourwebsite/com/blog/rss" (substituting "yourwebsite" of course) directly into the box and clicking "submit sitemap," or are you using XML code that includes that? I've found a few sites that show how to code the XML, but none have worked. (I keep getting a 404.) Can you please be more specific. Thank you.
